This mince is frozen from fresh to lock in quality, flavour and freshness at its very best. Freezing immediately after butchery allows us to reduce waste, offer better value, and ensure you always have high-quality beef ready when you need it.

What is the fat content?

We don't standardise fat percentages like the supermarkets do. Our mince is made from well-trimmed, grass fed Dexter beef — flavoursome but not greasy, with a lovely clean finish.

Is the mince frozen?

Yes — it's frozen from fresh and vacuum packed to lock in quality.

Can I refreeze after defrosting?

Once fully defrosted, we don't recommend refreezing. You can portion the mince while it's still partially frozen if that helps.

Is the beef halal or kosher?

No. All our animals are fully stunned in a non-reversible way before slaughter. Our beef is not halal or kosher.
