Honey Glazed Gammon Air Fryer Recipe
I love my air fryer and I don't know what I used to do without it.
Cooking joints have always been roasted in my oven, I wasn't brave enough to use the air fryer. I dont know why because it cooking our gammon joint beautifully.
Here's how I did it -
- Unsmoked, outdoor reared gammon joint 1.3kg
- Pre heat your air fryer.
- Cut two large pieces of foil and place them in a cross shape. Place your gammon in the middle and wrap with the foil until it is completely and tightly covered.
- Place the foil covered gammon in the air fryer basket and cook for an hour at 170c
The Glaze
- 1 1/2 tbsp English Mustard
- 70g Unthank Honey
- 2 tbsp of soft brown sugar
- Once cooked remove the foil exposing the joint.
- Score with a sharpe knife if needed.
- Generously brush over the glaze
- Return back to the air fryer, keeping the join exposed and cook for a further 20 minutes.
- Leave to cool for 15 mins before carving in to thick slices.
