Steak Bakes
Our easiest and tasiest meal ever!
The slow cooker came out as always. Our most tasiest beef is always cooked low and slow.
I used one pack of our diced beef which is roughly 500g.
>I seared the meat first in a little oil.
>Added it to my slow cooker once browned
>Covered the meat with water
> Add a beef stock pot, salt & pepper
>Cooked on low for about 6 hrs
> Once ready and the meat was falling apart I added gravy granules to thicken the stock.
>The shop brought puff pastry was cut in to 8 equal squares and the meat was added to the middle and covered.
> I cover the sides of the pastry with milk or egg to seal the pastry and a little for the top and then pop in the oven for 20 - 25 mins.
- I made a small amount of mash & veg to accompany and I added a little gravy from the stock made onto the mash.
Absolutely delicious and great for these cold days
Diced beef is included in our beef boxes and is so tasty. I have seen another recipe Mongolian Beef using braising steak another low, slow & tasty meal.
I will post the recipe and how tasty it is this week
